Why are REAR adjusters bad?
Rear adjusters increase and decrease the spring tension on the firing bolt to adjust your speed, this is NOT how the Tippmann was designed. It wastes Co2/air and gives you less shots per tank. They cause rapid wear on your Tippmann internal parts and increase your chances of
“double shots” or misfires.
Why are SIDE adjusters better?
The Tippmann was designed to use a side velocity adjuster, which increases and decreases Co2 volume in the chamber. So as you adjust your speed down, you use less air/Co2. This side velocity adjuster is manufactured to the EXACT specifications as your current Tippmann velocity adjuster. So it does not cause any of the problems that are found with REAR velocity adjusters. Since this side adjuster works exactly the same at the stock adjuster, it is 100% safe for your Tippmann.
