Offered for your consideration is this Antique Carved Oak 5 Panel 10′ x 8′ Room Divider Bank Wall Partition manufactured by Quincy Showcase Works of Quincy, IL. The old original stencil is still on the front, right below the long beveled mirror and all panels feature egg and dart carving on the angled crown. This amazing Transitional Arts & Crafts unit is constructed of five heavy solid oak panel sections that peg into each other on the sides & can be made smaller by removing panels to suit particular needs. There is a built up plateaued ledge / shelf on the center section that extends 6″ out from the panel. It is all original including its textured frosted privacy glass, oak fretwork & long beveled mirror. This piece looks to have been refinished at some point in it’s life & is very clean. When all the panels are connected this marvelous unit measures 10’1″ x 8’1″. This structure exemplifies the reason why so many of us long for the good old fashioned unyielding craftsmanship of years past. It’s ready for it’s next 100 years of service 🙂
